The Journey So Far

The Cho La Himalayan journey began over 21 years ago. Since then we have worked with some of the world’s leading travel agencies and have gained an enviable reputation in the industry for our professional and innovative operation.

We are proudly 100 percent Nepali owned and operated. However, we work very closely with overseas based Himalayan experts, who work as consultants, to ensure  the highest standards of professionalism are achieved. We have led the way in developing trekking in Nepal and were among the first to introduce local leaders raising the bar in terms of safety, environmental practices and porter welfare.  We are actively involved in supporting local community based initiatives, in the Annapurna Dhaulagiri region, Solu and Chitwan. More recently, with support from friends abroad, we have worked rebuilding homes affected by the earthquake in 2015.

To help you select your adventure have a look at the different styles we operate below.

Lodge Trekking

The majority of first time trekkers head to the popular Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu and Langtang regions. In all these regions there is an extensive network of comfortable lodges along the trail, so there is no need to camp. We operate all the classic trekking routes. Our itineraries allow for proper acclimatization, buffer days in case of bad weather and back up and safety measures that few companies can matchClick For More
